Samuel DeMorris Branton Jr., a 19-year-old resident of Tallahassee, Florida, tragically lost his life on July 19, 2015. Branton was found with severe gunshot wounds in the front yard of a house located in the 200 block of Wilson Green Boulevard. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The incident was one of three separate shootings that occurred in Tallahassee early that morning, highlighting a particularly violent period in the city.
