On the night of February 18, 2015, Alexavier Chaz Jennings, a 22-year-old resident of Lehigh Acres, Florida, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a suspicious person in the area around John Avenue South. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Jennings' body, marking the beginning of a homicide investigation.
