Luei Mohamed Yagoub, a 45-year-old man, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2014, in Riviera Beach, Florida. Yagoub was the owner of a convenience store named Stop To Go, located at 2909 Old Dixie Highway. On Thanksgiving night, he was involved in an argument with another man at his store. The altercation escalated when the man left the store, only to return with a gun and fatally shoot Yagoub.
The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m., leaving the community in shock and mourning the loss of a beloved local business owner.
Yagoub was known for his dedication to his store and his community. He often worked late hours and was well-regarded by his customers and neighbors. On the night of his death, he had been at the store after preparing Thanksgiving meals for others, showcasing his generous spirit. His wife, Suzanne, and their two children were left devastated by the sudden and violent loss. Suzanne described her husband as a great father and a hardworking man who did not deserve such a tragic end.
Despite the identification of a person of interest by the Riviera Beach Police, no arrests have been made in connection to Yagoub's murder. The police have been actively seeking information from the public to help solve the case. The store's security cameras were expected to provide crucial evidence, but as of now, the investigation remains open, and justice has yet to be served for Yagoub and his family.
