In the cold of a Baltimore winter, the life of 28-year-old Ricky Lee Mellerson, an African American male, was tragically cut short on January 11, 2014. The night was shattered by the sound of gunfire in the 100 block of East Madison Street. When the chaos subsided, Mellerson was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
