Paris Quentin Matthews, a 32-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 29, 2013, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Matthews was shot in his apartment at the Rene Lynn Apartments on Woodham Street. According to reports, two men knocked on his door around midnight. When Matthews opened the door, the men barged in and shot him in the upper body. Despite being rushed to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, Matthews succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
