John Demonze Edwards, a 42-year-old African American male from Clayton County, Georgia, was tragically shot and killed on December 24, 2022. The incident occurred at a Chevron gas station located off Boulevard and Irwin Street in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood of Atlanta. The shooting took place around 11:15 p.m., and the Atlanta Police Department (APD) responded to the scene shortly after.
