In the late afternoon of a Wednesday in downtown Atlanta, 52-year-old Horace Meadows was found injured on Forsyth Street, just south of Trinity Avenue. The initial call, coming in just before 4 p.m., reported a person shot. When authorities arrived, they discovered that Meadows had sustained a wound and he was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he later succumbed to his injuries.
