In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Macon, Georgia, a domestic dispute tragically escalated, leaving one man dead. The life of 45-year-old Deondra Fitchett was cut short on August 14, 2022, in the Pleasant Hill neighborhood. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office reported that the incident occurred just before 1:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Woodliff Street. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Fitchett suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
