In the early morning hours of Friday, March 6, 2026, the life of 42-year-old Marquiz Dewayne Hoges was tragically cut short in south Macon, Georgia. Deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office responded to a call around 1 a.m. in the 3400 block of Houston Avenue, where they discovered Hoges suffering from a gunshot wound.
