In the late hours of March 17, 2022, a dispute over a bowling ball at the Metro Fun Center in southwest Atlanta escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 31-year-old Lakevia Jackson. A female, Jackson was at the entertainment venue celebrating a friend's birthday when the argument erupted. The conflict, which began inside the bowling alley, spilled out into the parking lot.
