Malik Sharkur Easton, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 7, 2021, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred near 20th Street and 12th Avenue, just a day after Malik celebrated his birthday. According to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan, Malik was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:35 a.m. from multiple gunshot wounds.
