In the late afternoon of January 31, 2024, a shooting in Columbus, Georgia, resulted in the death of 16-year-old Timothy Paul Holloway Jr. A resident of Phenix City, Alabama, the White male was taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional hospital with a gunshot wound, where he was later pronounced dead by Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan. Holloway, who was born on August 19, 2007, in Columbus, was a student at Smiths Station Jr. High School.
