In the early morning hours of September 23, 2021, a tragedy born from paranoia unfolded in Macon, Georgia, ending the life of 39-year-old Antonio Mason. The incident, which took place on Woodliff Street, was reported to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at approximately 12:27 a.m. Mason had sustained a gunshot wound and was quickly transported by ambulance to Atrium Health Navicent.
