In the late summer of 2021, the community of Brunswick, Georgia, was shaken by the untimely death of a young man. Jarvis Jarquavis Denmark Jr., a 20-year-old African American male, was found deceased on September 7, 2021. His life was cut short by a fatal gunshot wound. The discovery of his body came just a short time after he was reported missing earlier that same morning, his location only a few blocks from where he had last been seen alive.
