In the late evening of August 16, 2021, a tragic event unfolded at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Fairburn Road in Atlanta, Georgia, that claimed the life of 33-year-old Jerome Emmanuel McKibbens. An observant introvert and a very sweet person, he was found with a gunshot wound and, despite the efforts of emergency responders, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that a gunshot wound was the cause of his death.
