In the early evening of January 22, 2025, the life of 28-year-old Rashad Kingsberry was cut short in a burst of gunfire at a southeast Atlanta apartment complex. The male victim was discovered by Atlanta police officers just after 5:30 p.m. inside a Nissan Rogue near the entrance of the Riverwood Apartments on Conley Road.
