In the late afternoon of May 2, 2021, a burst of violence on a Savannah street corner claimed the life of 22-year-old LaToya Latrice Jones, a female who was reportedly pregnant at the time. Jones was a passenger in a vehicle near the intersection of Jefferson Street and West Victory Drive when gunfire erupted.
