In the early morning hours of a Saturday in April 2021, a passerby made a grim discovery on a Macon sidewalk. Lying near the intersection of Columbus Road and Hortman Avenue was 55-year-old Timothy Keith Williams, suffering from a gunshot wound to a lower extremity. It was around 2 a.m. on April 17th when the call was made to authorities.
