In what was a tragic case of mistaken identity, Shawn Gray, a 22-year-old male, traveled to the Atlanta area in January 2021 to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday, a trip that would tragically be his last. Unbeknownst to Gray, he had been wrongfully targeted by a man seeking revenge for a crime he had nothing to do with. The father of two had no connection to the events that would lead to his untimely death in the early morning hours of January 17, 2021, outside a hotel in Cobb County.
