In the last days of a tumultuous year, the life of Carlos Demetrius Harris, a 45-year-old male, was abruptly and violently cut short in Atlanta, Georgia. On the afternoon of December 28, 2020, the Peoplestown neighborhood was disturbed by the sound of gunfire. Atlanta Police were called to Martin Street around 2:15 p.m. following reports of a person shot.
