In the early morning hours of November 28, 2020, a private vehicle rushed two women to the Navicent Hospital Emergency Room in Macon, Georgia. One of the women, 24-year-old Raiyawna Nibrea Moser-Powell of Byron, was pronounced deceased at the hospital from a gunshot wound. The second victim, 26-year-old Gabrielle Russell of Macon, was also suffering from a gunshot wound but was listed in stable condition.
