In the late hours of a Monday evening in Macon, Georgia, the life of 35-year-old Teresa McKenney was tragically cut short. On June 17, 2024, in the 3700 block of Napier Avenue, gunfire erupted, and when the chaos subsided, McKenney was found unresponsive with a fatal gunshot wound. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office and emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 11:22 p.m., but despite their efforts, McKenney was pronounced dead at the scene by the deputy coroner.
