Frederick Demor Asberry, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 15, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia. Asberry, a former U.S. Marine, was involved in an altercation outside the Up Lounge, a Midtown Atlanta nightclub. The incident began inside the club and escalated onto the street, where a confrontation between several males and a security guard turned violent.
