On a late Monday evening in August 2020, Darion Jester, a 30-year-old male, was at a Chevron gas station on Cleveland Avenue in southwest Atlanta. As he was pumping gas at approximately 10:20 p.m., gunfire erupted, and he was struck in the back. Another individual was also injured in the incident. Jester was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
