In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 31, 2020, Demarcus Lee, a 33-year-old male, was fatally shot while waiting at a red light. The incident occurred at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Peachtree Battle Avenue, across from the Peachtree Battle Promenade shopping center.
