On a summer evening in Atlanta, what began as a gathering outside a local convenience store tragically turned into a scene of violence that would ultimately claim the life of 42-year-old Chicorley Vickers. On July 15, 2021, Mr. Vickers, along with 36-year-old Joshua Evans and a woman, were standing outside the Pick'n'Pay at the intersection of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard and Chappell Road.
