On a late spring evening in northwest Atlanta, the life of Anthony Roy Dennis, a 45-year-old male, was cut short by a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The incident occurred on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at a residence located off Woodrow Street. Atlanta Police Department officers responded to a call regarding a shooting just before 8:15 p.m. and discovered Mr. Dennis at the scene. He was pronounced dead.
