In the early morning hours of April 18, 2020, the sound of gunfire pierced the quiet of a Savannah, Georgia neighborhood. When police responded to the area of Avery Street and Oglethorpe Avenue around 1:20 a.m., they discovered a scene of violence that had claimed the life of one man and left another wounded.
