In Valdosta, Georgia, on the night of April 11, 2020, a party took a tragic turn, ending the life of 35-year-old Sherrod Leonard, a Black male. The Valdosta Police Department received a 911 call around 10:53 p.m. and responded to the 2400 block of Bemiss Road.
