On the last day of 2019, tragedy struck in Adel, Georgia, when 29-year-old Cody Robinson, a male, was fatally shot. The incident, which also claimed the life of 34-year-old Quinten Payne, unfolded in the vicinity of 305 N. Adams Street. The Adel Police Department received a 911 call reporting the shooting and, upon arrival, discovered Payne deceased at the scene with gunshot wounds. Robinson had also sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
