In what was determined to be a murder-suicide, Lacresha Jalyn Day, a single mother of two from Seffner, Florida, was found deceased on October 17, 2019, in a hotel room in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Ms. Day was discovered alongside the body of Devin Shorter.
