In the early morning hours of January 8, 2012, Ramon Tyree Parrott, a 35-year-old Black male from Richmond, Virginia, was visiting relatives in Baltimore. At approximately 4 a.m., while inside a home located in the 4100 block of Mariban Court in the Brooklyn Park neighborhood, tragedy struck. Multiple gunshots were fired through the front window of the residence, striking Parrott in the face.
