In a heartbreaking turn of events, a father and his young son were found deceased in Columbus, Georgia, leaving a family and community in mourning. Joseph Banks, a 41-year-old African American male, and his three-year-old son, Ja'Ceiden Banks, were discovered shot inside a truck on Stuart Drive on November 27, 2018. The two were last seen leaving the Colony Inn on Victory Drive in the truck. Joseph was in the driver's seat, with his young son in the middle.
