In the summer of 2018, the life of Rodney Lowe, a 19-year-old African American male from Atlanta, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the night of August 25, 2018, Lowe was found with a gunshot wound to the chest near the intersection of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard NW and Archer Way NW. The shooting occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. Emergency services transported him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
