In the late afternoon of a summer day in Alapaha, Georgia, the life of 26-year-old Patricia Michelle Deboyd was tragically cut short. On Wednesday, August 1, 2018, law enforcement received a distressing call around 3:10 p.m. reporting a shooting in the 1300 block of Highway 158. Upon their arrival, deputies from the Berrien County Sheriff's Office discovered Ms. Deboyd's body. She had sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
