In the summer of 2018, the life of 49-year-old Michael Ladon Charckon, a white male, was brought to a tragic and abrupt end in Donalsonville, Georgia. On the evening of July 25th, Charckon was fatally shot, succumbing to a gunshot wound that would leave a community in search of answers. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, in conjunction with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, immediately launched a homicide investigation to piece together the events of that fateful night.
