In the early morning hours of June 24, 2018, the life of Ronald Morris Bentley, a 40-year-old male from Cedartown, Georgia, was tragically cut short. Responding to a 5:15 a.m. 911 call reporting shots fired, Cedartown police discovered Bentley's body lying in the intersection of East Gibson and Park streets. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
