In the early morning hours of a late October day in 2015, the life of 21-year-old Daniel Leon was tragically cut short on a street corner in Cedartown, Georgia. On October 29, 2015, at the intersection of Thompson and Jones Streets, Leon sustained a single, fatal gunshot wound to the chest. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they found him still alive, and he was quickly transported to Polk Medical Center. Despite the efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
