In the quiet town of Douglas, Georgia, the life of Christopher Leonard Tyson, a 48-year-old male, was abruptly cut short on Monday, May 7, 2018. On that day, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Coffee County Sheriff's Office was alerted to a shooting at 118 Quincey Batten Loop, Lot 8. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Tyson suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
