In a tragic turn of events stemming from a domestic dispute, 57-year-old James Kenneth Avera, a White / Caucasian male, died on December 4, 2017, in his Augusta, Georgia, home. The incident, which unfolded on Karian Drive, was the result of a murder-suicide attempt that left Avera dead and a woman who resided with him critically injured.
