In the early hours of October 1, 2017, a tragedy unfolded in Augusta, Georgia, that cut short the life of 17-year-old Nazariem Shalar Ferron. An African American male, Ferron was known for his vibrant personality and was a cherished son, brother, and grandson. The night of his death, he was involved in a shooting incident on Amsterdam Drive in Richmond County.
