The events of that Friday evening unfolded when a vehicle registered to Fritts was discovered after it had crashed into a utility pole, an incident that also triggered a power outage in the vicinity. Upon their arrival, first responders found Fritts inside the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
