In the fall of 2016, the life of 23-year-old Tyler Ford, a male student at the University of West Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of October 26, Ford was fatally shot at the entrance of his apartment on Lovvorn Road in Carrollton, Georgia. The incident unfolded when Ford answered a knock at his door, leading to a physical altercation that ended with a gunshot. His three roommates, who were present in the apartment at the time, heard the commotion and promptly called 911.
