In the pre-dawn hours of October 14, 2024, the life of Gregory Martez 'Marty' Patton, a 34-year-old Black/African American male from Douglasville, Georgia, was tragically cut short. The fatal encounter unfolded around 2:30 a.m. in the Thomas Homes community on 6th Street in Carrollton.
