In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Savannah, Georgia, the life of Reginald Washington, a 43-year-old African American male, was tragically cut short. On August 21, 2016, in the 300 block of West 37th Street, officers responded to a call and found Washington suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Memorial University Medical Center, but tragically succumbed to his injuries the following day, on August 22, 2016.
