In the early morning hours of December 26, 2010, the life of 20-year-old Raymond Woodland was cut short in a fatal shooting. An African American male from Baltimore, Maryland, Woodland was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the 2100 block of Boyd Street. His death marked the 221st homicide in the city that year.
