In the early morning hours of May 21, 2022, the life of 22-year-old Daemond Wallace, a Black male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. Officers were initially dispatched to the 900 block of Leadenhall Street around 1:39 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Wallace suffering from gunshot wounds.
