In the summer of 2016, a promising life was tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. Lekeshia Janae Moses, a 16-year-old female, was fatally shot on Friday, July 1, 2016. Known affectionately as 'Lady Bug,' Lekeshia was a student at G.W. Carver High School where she was involved in the ROTC program. Her untimely death occurred at the Wilson Homes apartment complex.
