On Easter morning, March 31, 2024, the life of 17-year-old Jania Mobley was tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. The young woman was one of two fatalities in a shooting that occurred in the early hours of the morning.
The incident unfolded on 10th Street, where police responded to a report of shots fired. Mobley and another individual, Christopher Collins, were discovered with gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was also injured in the shooting.
