Marcus Mandrell Scott, a 38-year-old African American male from Keysville, Georgia, was found dead on May 24, 2016, in Augusta, Georgia. His body was discovered inside a wrecked vehicle on the 2300 block of Old McDuffie Road. The vehicle had visible bullet holes, and Scott was found slumped over the steering wheel with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:45 a.m. The Richmond County Coroner confirmed his identity and the cause of death as a gunshot wound.
